These are aimed to alert the passers-by of the commercial site such as for sale signs. 4×8 is considered a good size for a property on sale purpose while 4×4 is good if you just want to put your company name out on the street.

The size of this category of signage has no defined range. Usually, posters come in A4 sizes and contain content in detail with attractive graphics. 24 x 36 inches is the standard size for one-sheet film posters.

Some posters like movie posters are meant to feature the main cast, so the size is adjusted accordingly, mainly about a door’s length. More text is added in smaller posters that demand the attention of the reader. The case is the opposite for posters that contain more graphic content. These posters are made larger to include all required graphical content.
